Audio books and the next project on the horizon

Power of the Lost is out. Very likely if you're reading this you already know that, so I won't belabor the point. Book 2 is currently in the hands of the audio engineer, after which it will come to me for final review. I am hoping it will be live first week of February. Book 3 (yes, the one that just launched) is currently being recorded. Miss Irondale is on board for the series, and I know from the reviews I am not the only one thrilled to have her support for his project. It is likely the audio book for Power of the Lost will be live by the end of February. Send Me an Angel is book 1 of the Divine Koan, and that will be going to beta this week while I wait for a cover. Once I have it, and it's edited and polished, I'll throw it up on Amazon. Very briefly, it is a non-harem litRPG with a rough rating limit of hard R. So if that's what you're into, rejoice. :P I know the market is saturated with other litRPG titles, but this is the one I was working on w...

TL:DR Book 2 audio begins recording 1/3, next book in the queue is NOT CC book 4.

So here's where I cop to being pretty shit at keeping up with all the various avenues of social media. Here's the update in a bit more detail: Finished a final pass on Rod of the Heart and forwarded it to Miss Irondale today. Her estimated start date right now is 1/3, so for those of you who are looking forward to the audio of book 2, one step closer. :) Also did more work on book 3. Should be finishing the draft for that in the next week or so, then it's for beta reading and editing. Now, some of the people I speak with regularly know this, but I figure it's time to go ahead and put it out there. My next book after Power of the Lost will NOT be book 4 in the Celestine Chronicles. Don't panic, my plans for that series still run to six books total, and I WILL finish the series absent some kind of brain damage or D&D (Death and Dismemberment). That said, the second half of CC is going to have a bit of a tonal shift, as Terry goes from being th...

Ye verily, an update

Here I sit, broken-hearted, it's two in the morning and I've barely started. Well, that's not true. I'm about 30K into writing book 3. For those of you who've read and - one hopes - enjoyed the first two, I can only say thank you. Thank you so much. Actually, I can say a BIT more than that. Book 3 is coming along as I mentioned, but I don't have a release date for it yet. I need to get cover details to my artist EARLIER this time though, that I know for sure. The artwork for book 2 was done approximately ooh, 3 hours before I hit publish? That's stress I don't need. Some of that had to do with me waffling on what I wanted the cover art to be though, and I admittedly suck at digging around for reference. Thankfully my wife is a very talented artist, and she helped out quite a bit. (No, she didn't do the cover, though she did do the typography. If I want to get a commission from her I have to jump in the queue like everyone else. Just goes to s...

Celestine Chronicles book 2 is coming end of August.

State of the Book 2: TL:DR I'm on schedule for release end of the month. All right y'all, just to give those of you following along an update, the book is proofed. Today is the last day for beta readers to get their feedback to me. I had pretty good response rates from those who opted into the beta (join my mailing list if you want to try out for the team with regard to book 3!) and they gave me some good notes on things I need to tweak before release. Overall, the response was positive, which is good but at this point just means that people who liked my writing last month still seem to dig it this month, go figure. That being said, a few key things DEFINITELY need to be tweaked, and I'll have plenty of time to get it all done on schedule. My artist will be starting the cover on the 21st, which means he'll be done with it by the 24th or so. (yeah, he's that fast. The new cover up now took him 3 days as well, with one extra for polish.) Book 3 ...
